See this page for downloads of Dr. Sundberg's presentations and accessories for the VB MAPP, as well as other talks and references.
VB-MAPP is a language and social skills assessment tool that is based on Skinner’s analysis of verbal behavior, and typical developmental milestones.
The VB-MAPP has three components.
- The first component is the VB-MAPP Skills Assessment. This part of the assessment is designed to provide a representative sample of a child’s existing verbal and related repertoires. The VB-MAPP Skills Assessment contains 150 verbal behavior milestones across 3 developmental levels (0-18 months, 18-30 months, and 30-48 months) and 14 different skill areas.
- The second component is the VB-MAPP Skills Task Analysis, which provides a further breakdown of each of the 14 different skills in the form of a checklist for skill tracking.
- The third part is the VB-MAPP Barriers Assessment, which provides an assessment of 22 common learning and language barriers faced by children with autism (e.g., defective mands, defective intraverbals, instructional control
